Digital sovereignty

Less dependence on proprietary vendors, more control over your data and stack. Linux, NixOS and auditable open source building blocks, operated by engineers in France.

What does it mean?

Digital sovereignty is not only hosting in France. It means being able to audit, transfer and evolve your information system without being locked into a single vendor or provider.

A concrete stack

  • Linux and open source virtualization (KVM, QEMU)
  • NixOS for declarative infrastructure
  • Keycloak, Nextcloud, Matrix for identity and collaboration
  • Following Sécurix / Bureautix (DINUM): still experimental, not yet generalisable

Proof on the ground

Municipalities are already migrating to Linux without an in-house IT department. On the State side, Sécurix and Bureautix are experimental (about 250 workstations at DINUM): a strong signal, but not a product ready to deploy elsewhere yet.
